Jason Forrester never imagined he would be so thoroughly humiliated the moment the words left his mouth.
His assistant walked in at a measured pace, holding the evidence. He was clearly at a loss for words regarding the situation.
"After multiple investigations, I've discovered this matter is still closely linked to the White Family. It's possible all the evidence is in their hands."
The assistant had initially found the result impossible to accept. But after investigating time and time again, the evidence invariably pointed back to the White Family.
Now, even if he didn't want to reveal this, there was no other way to resolve the current dilemma.
The facts were laid out right in front of him. Beyond trying to find a solution, there was nothing left to say.
"Are you absolutely certain the results of this investigation are accurate?"
"If these findings are true, I'll hold the White Family accountable. But you have to be sure they're authentic."
