After hanging up the phone, Megan Kane began a series of investigations into the whole affair.
She never imagined things would turn out to be almost exactly as she had feared. She had no idea what was really going on, and she couldn't wrap her head around it.

"That's pretty much the situation. Do you have any ideas? We can't just stand by and watch them get caught up in this mess, can we?"

If he couldn't, then no one would know what to do about this.
