A fine drizzle fell from the sky. The weather was overcast and gloomy, putting one in no mood to go out.
Megan Kane was so bored watching TV she was about to doze off. In this oppressive weather, she couldn't find anything to lift her spirits.

Jason Forrester was about to leave when he paused. He looked at the gloomy woman moping at home, wondering what was going on with her.
"Just rest up at home. I'm heading to the office. Oh, by the way, if you want your best friend to come over, I can call her for you. Just don't sit around moping."
His voice trailed off at the end as he looked at her and spoke cautiously.
He just didn't want to see her looking so miserable. 'It's not a big deal. If she just calms down, she'll find a solution.'
