Jason Forrester had never expected to see her again. It caught him completely by surprise.
"Why the sudden visit? Is there something else you need from us?"
Jason Forrester didn't know what was wrong with himself. He always seemed to have a knee-jerk reaction when he saw her, a feeling of fear.
He was constantly worried that some new problem would suddenly arise, becoming his to deal with, and he wouldn't know how to cope.
But now, facing her, he honestly didn't know what to say or how to even begin resolving things.
"It's nothing serious. She's just in a bad mood and wanted to come over to our place to relax. Don't say the wrong thing. Come on, go have a seat. Everyone's here now, so there's no need to be so reserved."
A smile was in Megan Kane's eyes. She felt that since they were all here now, they just needed to calm down and everything would be fine. There was nothing to worry about.
