"There's not much to do after we get back. Is there anything you want to do?"
Megan Kane took a slow breath. She supposed there wasn't anything major to take care of right now, but she wondered if the man before her had any ideas.
"What could I possibly have to do? My life is pretty mundane. All I need to do is keep a level head."
"Besides, there's nothing I want to do right now anyway."
"So you don't need to worry. In any case, I don't have anything to do right now."
"Once this is all completely over, we can both take a step back and think about how things will finally turn out."
Jason Forrester felt that the most important thing right now was for everyone to keep a level head and think carefully about what needed to be handled next.
