Jason Forrester nodded, not saying anything more. 'Anyway, I think I'll go buy some cotton candy.'
"Why don't you wait here for me? I'll go buy you some cotton candy to try."
"I remember you used to love this stuff. It seems like you haven't had any in a while, have you? Is it because I've been holding you back?"
"Or have your tastes changed?"
A smile appeared on Jason Forrester's face. He felt that the way they both thought had changed somewhat, but there was really nothing more to be said about the current situation.
This really wasn't what he wanted to see. There was no need to hesitate or agonize over something undesirable.
"Cotton candy is just cotton candy. I don't really have an appetite anyway. If you want to buy it, go ahead. I don't mind either way. You know my appetite isn't great right now."
Megan Kane shook her head, a nonchalant smile on her face. Her appetite really wasn't good right now, so whether she ate cotton candy or not was the last thing on her mind.
