Megan Kane felt that her life had been quite peaceful lately.
She didn't have any particular thoughts or suspicions, just peacefully counting the days as they passed.
"Don't you think our life is pretty good right now? We have nothing to worry about, so why overthink it?"
"By the way, are you hiding something about the company from me? You look so worried every day."
"If you're hiding something, you can just tell me. There's nothing we can't talk through."
Megan Kane nodded. She felt it was pointless to keep talking about it. It was better to just find some peace of mind; she would eventually emerge from this gloom.
Besides, she had been going around in circles and still couldn't think of a suitable solution.
"You're the one who's overthinking things. What else could I possibly be thinking about? My mind is perfectly at peace."
