"Let's just stay here, then. I can't be bothered to look for another one. If you don't have any objections, I'll go ahead and book it."
Jason Forrester also thought staying here was a good idea; there was really no need to keep looking.
Besides, the two of them were on the same page. Neither was particularly picky when it came to hotels.
"Go ahead and book it. I'm going to call her. She'll get anxious if I wait. She doesn't even know we've arrived yet."
Megan Kane didn't have much more to say about the hotel. She needed to call her best friend, who would get worried and think they hadn't arrived yet.
She quickly made the call to keep her friend from overthinking, since they were, in fact, already here.
'I just wonder when my best friend will be able to come out. It's hard not to worry about the situation.'
"Stop overthinking it," Jason said. "She definitely knows we've arrived. Everything will be fine once she comes out to meet us. Don't worry so much."
