Seraphina Sterling had just reached the entrance when she was stopped. It couldn't be helped. She wasn't one to move in high society, and without a single designer brand on her, she naturally wasn't qualified to enter such a high-class establishment.
"Miss, we're not hiring! If you're looking for a job, please try next door!" The doorman was blunt, his gaze filled with disdain.
Seraphina Sterling was in no mood to waste words with him and directly tossed out the black card Martin Quinn had once given her.
The doorman's expression changed instantly. He started bowing and nodding. "I was blind and failed to recognize your importance! Miss, you are a magnanimous person, please don't lower yourself to my level. Please, come in!"
If she weren't in a hurry, Seraphina Sterling would have definitely taught this guy a lesson for judging people by their appearance.
