"Fine by me," Carter Lyndon said, completely unfazed. "We'll do it your way."
The others nodded in agreement and headed to a computer room with top-of-the-line equipment.
The computer room was a soundproof booth that happened to have two computers.
Ethan Ellison sat down, looked up at Iris Dalton, and asked, "Are you competing against me yourself, or is he?"
Before Iris Dalton could speak, Carter Lyndon snatched a chair, sat down, and reached out to pat Ethan Ellison's shoulder.
"Hey, Shorty, I'll be your opponent. Someone at your level isn't worthy of The Great Wylie's attention!"
Ethan Ellison's expression darkened.
He hated it more than anything when people called him short!
"Hmph!" Ethan Ellison snarled through gritted teeth. "I'll enjoy watching you lose!"
Both of them sat down, booted up their computers, and got to work.
Two massive screens were mounted on the opposite wall, allowing everyone to watch the competition in real time.
