On the pier, Jude Shaw and his three companions dragged their large suitcases. Invitations in hand, they shuffled forward with the crowd, waiting to board the cruise ship.
Suddenly, Anya Donovan spotted familiar figures and gasped. "Look over there. Aren't those Iris Dalton and Lynn Ford?"
The other three turned to look.
Two young girls in pretty matching skirt suits, each carrying a small suitcase, were heading over to join the line.
It was indeed Iris Dalton and Lynn Ford.
Robert Roland let out a wolf whistle. "Well, well," he teased frivolously. "Even the charity cases have traded their rags for riches. Who would have thought? Lynn Ford is dressed to the nines—she must be here to fish for a sugar daddy."
Monica Sullivan frowned, her face clouded with displeasure. "Why are they here?"
She had come on this cruise to have fun and absolutely did not want to run into Iris Dalton. Wherever Iris Dalton went, she stole all the thunder!
