RING, RING—
The warning bell rang as Eric Jenson and Carter Lyndon hurried into the classroom right on time.
One of them had just been discharged from the hospital, while the other had overslept.
Carter hadn't even washed his face, showing up for the exam with a messy bedhead.
When he saw Iris Dalton's stunning outfit, his groggy eyes instantly lit up. He leaned in close and said, "The Great Wylie looks absolutely gorgeous today! Even prettier than those A-list actresses!"
Iris pushed him away in disgust and rolled her eyes. "Shoo, stay away from me. You reek of sweat! It's suffocating!"
"Do I?" Carter gave himself a sniff. The pungent odor nearly knocked him out. He had pulled an all-nighter playing video games and hadn't had time to shower. He really did reek of sweat!
Carter brushed it off, raising an arm to flex his muscles. "A sweaty scent just means my hormones are raging. I'm still young."
