At the edge of the lakeshore, a thick fog like a flowing gray veil obscured most of the scenery, but it couldn't hide the muffled voices within.

A deliberately hushed, gruff voice spoke up, thick with the accent of the Kuze People. Through the dense fog, the approaching figure of a brown-haired Warrior could be faintly seen, clad in worn leather armor with a greatsword on his back.
"I heard they pissed off a tough customer over in the Death Swamp. Because of 'Miracle' Yano, they lost several of their best men. Even 'Gray Rat' Hawke went down. Tsk, tsk. Good thing we stayed out of that mess."
"Glen, that's only because 'Miracle' Yano hasn't run into me."
A small, slender figure wrapped in a dark-gray cloak crouched nimbly. It was his companion, the thief Michele.
