Chen Yu bounced to the center of the long table, directly facing the three towering, ethereal blue phantoms. After a moment's thought, he decided to offer a polite greeting to maintain his image as a gentlemanly Slime.
"Greetings to you, ancestors of the Stone Race."
The phantoms shimmered slightly at its mental voice, their eyes—condensed from the ethereal blue light—seeming to reveal a glimmer of interest.
'A Slime Messenger? Now that's something new.'
"Interesting," Cameron commented.
On second thought, since it was a faction of monsters, sending a Slime as a messenger seemed logical enough.
They were, in fact, more interested that a Slime possessed intelligence.
After a brief silence, Solomon spoke in a solemn tone, "Welcome to the territory of the Stone Race, Your Excellency. We deeply regret that we could not greet you in person."
