The Barbarian Tribe was small, with only a little over fifty members, and fewer than fifteen of them were young adults. The loss of any one of them would be a devastating blow to the tribe.
This meant not having enough hands for hunting, leading to a dwindling food supply.
It could be said that every expedition into the snow curtain required immense courage and resolve.
Wild Men in the tribe who were injured while hunting, or those over forty, would even voluntarily enter the snow curtain to seek a chance at survival, thereby saving food for the rest of the tribe.
Although they all entered with a sliver of hope of passing through the snow curtain, the blizzard that barred the way across the snowy mountains was like a silent ice tomb. It had swallowed countless people, none of whom ever returned.
Now that they had a map, it was time to resolve to abandon everything here and journey to the warmer south.
