"They're extremely fast. Without a mount, you probably couldn't even catch their shadows."
Yano rubbed the back of his head, not answering directly.
He simply took a deep breath, and his figure quickly blurred, turning transparent and vanishing completely into the shadows cast by the trees. He only reappeared a dozen or so meters away.
At first, Nili didn't pay it much mind. It wasn't too strange for a Stone Descendant Knight to know a bit of stealth. But soon, she realized something was wrong.
"Hm?"
'Master-level stealth?'
'When did this guy learn that?'
Nili's expression turned to one of surprise.
'A Knight training their stealth skill to the master level... that's just bizarre, isn't it?'
Although it was a far cry from her own level as a Shadow Master, this proficiency in stealth had clearly surpassed most of the young Stone Race members participating in this trial.
