Toward the swamp?
A perplexed question mark appeared above Chen Yu's round, jiggly head.
He knew that the proximity of planar rifts didn't strictly follow their physical locations on the Prime Material Plane.
Unless a High Tier Mage performed precise calculations and complex arcane deductions, it was incredibly difficult to locate and connect two distant planar rifts.
But according to the Heart Stealer, the rift controlled by the Blood Race and this one deep within Gor were not only close in proximity but had also, by some coincidence, linked together.
The odds of that were lower than a Slime disliking a sunbath.
What was even stranger was this: if the Blood Race had known this secret all along, they could have easily used this rift to sneak into the heart of Gor. They could have caused the Stone Race far more trouble than just releasing a single Heart Stealer. So why would they expose the rift like this?
Suspicious. Very suspicious.
