Allen Bridge Castle.
The city owed its name to the Allen Long Bridge, a giant, centuries-old stone arch bridge spanning the main channel of the Jade River. Situated in the east-central part of the White Horse Kingdom on the banks of the Jade River, it guarded the transportation chokepoint to the Kingdom's eastern breadbasket: the Golden Grain Plain.
Originally a military fortress and a key stronghold on the Kingdom's early frontier, it had since become a major commercial hub in the southeast.
In the early morning, deep in a dilapidated alley of Allen Bridge Castle, a small, rundown community church stood quietly.
The church's wooden door creaked as it was pushed open from within, and Arthur's tall figure emerged.
He wore the same slightly worn but polished suit of a Knight's plate armor, but now had an inconspicuous gray cloak draped over it.
He turned and gave a Knight's salute to the kind-faced old man inside the doorway, who was dressed in a simple priest's robe.
