Damian Fairchild's words made Seraphina Quinn feel a profound sense of shame, as if she'd been stripped bare.
This shame was more agonizing than being cast into the deepest pit of Hell.
"Damian, please don't be like this. I'm the one who brought her here."
Audrey Winslow's voice was gentle and calm.
"My car hit Miss Quinn at the corner of Celestia Road and Providence Road."
"She hurt her knee. There's gravel stuck in it that needs to be removed by a doctor with the proper tools."
Hearing this, Damian Fairchild finally glanced at Seraphina Quinn's bleeding knee.
The wound wasn't particularly large, but blood was trickling from it. The area around the bleeding was dark, and it did look like there was gravel embedded inside.
