Damian Fairchild was at the airport.
He was just about to board his flight.
"What is it?"
Seraphina Quinn found it hard to say. "My cousin broke your sister-in-law's heirloom bracelet, and now… we're at the police station…"
Before she could even finish, the man cut her off.
"Miss Quinn, I don't necessarily handle your problems personally, let alone your cousin's. My plane is about to take off. I don't have time to worry about other people's business."
The man mercilessly hung up on her.
This situation could only be resolved if Damian Fairchild or Audrey Winslow intervened. Otherwise, there was no room for negotiation.
She could shamelessly beg Damian Fairchild, but she couldn't bring herself to ask Audrey Winslow.
So, Seraphina Quinn steeled herself and said to a sobbing Tanya Thorne, who was crying so hard snot bubbles were forming:
"I'll have my aunt and uncle pay for the best lawyer for you, to try and get you a few years off your sentence."
