Mia Linden placed the herbal medicine on the coffee table and replied to him in a gentle voice, "Her name is Seraphina Quinn. She's an old acquaintance of yours!"
After a moment, Mia Linden's gaze fell on Seraphina Quinn, but her words were still directed at Damian Fairchild.
"Miss Quinn heard you were discharged from the hospital, so she came to see you."
Damian Fairchild's sharp eyes narrowed, his gaze fixed on Seraphina Quinn as he sized her up. "Is that so?" He paused. "An old acquaintance? What kind of old acquaintance?"
Mia Linden replied with a meaningful look, "Why don't you talk to her? You'll find out everything then." She paused again. "You two talk. I'll go upstairs and run you a bath."
With that, Mia Linden stood up and left.
As she passed Seraphina Quinn, she paused. "Miss Quinn, the doctor said that even though Mr. Fairchild has been discharged, he can't handle too much excitement!"
The implication was clear: don't say anything you shouldn't.
