But Seraphina Quinn dodged the question. "Have you had dinner?"
Damian Fairchild seethed with anger, his breathing ragged. He said nothing.
Seraphina then continued as if talking to herself:
"I just ran into Chloe Kendall downstairs. She was bringing you dinner. But, unless she's completely shameless, she probably won't be coming back. So..."
She paused for a few seconds. Seeing Damian Fairchild's handsome face still dark with anger, she continued, "So, what do you want for dinner? I'll cook for you?"
Seraphina's words, "I'll cook for you," finally spurred Damian Fairchild to speak again.
Except his voice was dripping with sarcasm. "What? Did your cooking skills improve after waiting on Cian for the past half-month?"
Seraphina didn't shy away from the topic.
She found a spot to put down the toiletries she had brought and replied lightly:
"That's right. They've improved quite a bit, actually. Care to try?"
