BANG!
A crimson wave of energy shot out with the palm strike. The moment it landed, it exploded with a ROAR, and the fiery light instantly engulfed Hu Xun.
Hu Xun, who was focused on fighting the [Poisonous Chain], had nowhere to dodge. His entire body was set alight by the golden-red Three-second Fire. The searing flames pulsed with damage every second, each pulse draining nearly twenty thousand of his Qi Blood.
"Damn it, this fire can't be put out!"
Hu Xun's face paled in horror. He frantically surged his blood energy, trying to extinguish the flames on his body, but it was useless.
There was nothing to be done. This was the unique characteristic of [Three-second Fire]: it could only burn for three seconds, but it was also guaranteed to burn for three seconds.
Other flames might have the ability to burn continuously, but they could be easily extinguished by an energy stronger than the flame itself, especially a high-intensity water-elemental energy.
