As Magic Power flowed into their palms, their blood began to burn, glowing with a golden-red light.
The Thief Master stood quietly to the side, his eyes filled with gratification, but also a trace of sorrow that he couldn't quite erase...
The five bleeding palms were stacked together, their blood mingling as it flowed. Soon, under the surge of their combined Magic Power, a cloud of golden-red bloody mist rose above their hands, slowly coalescing into a complex, patterned design.
This was the process of forging the Bloodline Oath, which required the five of them to construct the Oath Demon Pattern together.
The pattern of the Oath Demon Pattern wasn't overly complex, but constructing it was far from easy. It required multiple people to work in concert, and the more people involved, the greater the difficulty.
After all, everyone thought and acted differently, and their habits for constructing Demon Patterns would vary.
