"I haven't had anything to drink. I'm about to head back."
After replying to Xiao Xiao, Gao Yuan glanced at the bustling banquet hall. His eyes landed on Wang Sichao, who was surrounded by a crowd, and he got up to walk over to him.
He had come at Wang Sichao's invitation, so he had to let him know he was leaving.
"Young Master Wang is always the brightest star in the room!"
Gao Yuan walked closer, raised his glass of juice, and said to Wang Sichao with a smile.
"My apologies, brother. I've been a terrible host today!"
Wang Sichao had actually seen Gao Yuan approaching. Even while chatting with the people around him, a man like him always kept an eye on the entire event.
"I'm just a worldly man, surrounded by worldly matters."
"You didn't bring a date today, did you? How about I introduce you to someone?"
Wang Sichao was a smooth operator, and the excuse he gave was fitting—everyone at the party had seen him surrounded by women all night.
