Gao Yuan adjusted the angle, having Lin Wanyu and Li Mengqing stand in front holding the cake. He stood between them, stretched out his arm, and snapped a picture.
After taking a few shots, Gao Yuan went ahead and took some pictures of the feast on the table as well.
He hadn't updated "Mr. Gao's Dinner" in a long time. He figured he could use these photos from Lin Wanyu's birthday as a new post.
Next came the exciting part: making a wish.
Gao Yuan stuck a small candle in the cake, lit it, and then turned off all the lights in the house.
In the faint yellow candlelight, Lin Wanyu gave Gao Yuan a deep look, then slowly closed her eyes, clasping her hands before her chest.
「One minute later.」
Lin Wanyu opened her eyes, a charming smile on her face. She leaned toward the candle and blew it out in one breath.
She had spent a full minute making her wish. She was a little afraid it wouldn't come true, so she blew out the candle with extra force.
"What did you wish for?"
