At that moment, a flicker of rage appeared in the eyes of the portly Buddha figure.
"You deserve to die!"
As he descended, he thrust a palm out toward Xu Lei.
His palm grew as it flew, transforming into a giant hand that came crashing down with a RUMBLE.
"Look out!"
Before Xu Lei could even mount a defense, Bai Ling shot forward, maneuvering her Flying Sword to block the attack for him.
But the giant palm simply swatted the Flying Sword aside.
The palm then struck at Bai Ling. BANG! Although she managed to block it, she was still sent flying.
Of course, Bai Ling wasn't killed; she was merely knocked a great distance away.
"Bai Ling, I know of you. You are a promising talent chosen by Venerable Guan Yun himself!"
The Fat Buddha looked at Bai Ling and said, "I will not kill you, but only on the condition that you know your place. Back away at once, or I will kill you too!"
A look of astonishment crossed Bai Ling's pretty face. She had never expected to hear such a thing.
