Selena Sheridan said nothing. Elliot Sheridan stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray. "Because Justin Sullivan likes Georgia Thorne?"
"Uncle, you know?" Selena Sheridan raised her delicate eyebrows in surprise.
"So, for Justin Sullivan's sake, you're going to destroy a friendship you've had for years? You want to fight to the bitter end and make him choose between the two of you? Selena Sheridan, have you lost your mind!"

Selena Sheridan pouted, feeling her uncle was being a bit too harsh. She had never once thought of it that way.
It was just that, in that moment, she felt betrayed by the two people she trusted most. She instantly felt like there was no one left in the world she could trust or rely on.
Elliot Sheridan lit another cigarette, and the hospital room grew thick with smoke.
