Georgia Thorne had no intention of going inside, so she turned and left.
The next morning, while Georgia was still asleep, her phone rang.
"What's up?"
"Georgia, I didn't say anything weird last night, did I?" Selena Sheridan asked carefully from the other end of the call.
"No. Did something happen?"
"Good, that's a relief. Go back to sleep, I won't bother you anymore!"
Selena Sheridan let out a couple of nervous laughs, then hung up.
Georgia glanced at the time. It was only five in the morning.
Ever since the two of them made up, they'd been just like they used to be, with a lot more to talk about.
But Georgia was incredibly busy with work. On top of that, with graduation approaching, she had to submit her thesis and design drafts for school. She barely had any free time.
Selena had gone abroad to travel and clear her head, so the two of them hadn't been talking as much.
