Secretary York glanced at the phone number on the business card, finding it vaguely familiar.
He was lost in thought for a second before snapping back to reality. "Miss Thorne, take care."
They had spent so much time with Shirley Summers that it was already dark by the time they left.
Vivian Sawyer walked beside her, their shoulders nearly touching. "Miss Thorne, I wonder how much a night in this hotel costs!"
"Why? Thinking of staying here?"
"As if! I was just curious." Vivian Sawyer wrapped her coat tighter around herself. "Ever since I started working with you, Miss Thorne, every rich person I meet seems richer than the last. Tsk, tsk!"
She was just so envious. A single hotel room was nicer than her entire apartment.
Georgia Thorne and Elliot Sheridan didn't move back to their own apartment from the Sheridan residence until after the Lantern Festival.
