"It's possible!" Luther nodded, his eyes fixed on Georgia Thorne inside the glass room.
A moment later, Georgia handed an item to the man and walked out of the room, her expression grim.
The lawyer behind her hurried out with a file. "Mrs. Sheridan, you should understand Mr. Sheridan's intentions. He doesn't want to hold you back!"
"Then please go back and tell him that whether or not I'm being held back is my decision, not his. Even if he's in here for another thirty years, I'm willing to wait."
"Mrs. Sheridan, you..."
Georgia turned her back, her expression resolute as she grabbed a pen and wrote on a slip of paper.
The lawyer looked at Georgia helplessly, finally placing the document folder he was holding on the corner of the table. "Well, Mrs. Sheridan, please give it some more thought!"
Only after the lawyer left did Georgia stop what she was doing, her gaze shifting to the file on the side.
