Carrying lunch, Nancy Hughes heard Lana Caldwell whining to Zoey Zane, asking for money.
Lana Caldwell was bored staying at the hospital and wanted to go have some fun at an internet cafe nearby.
Since she didn't have any money, she could only ask Zoey Zane.
Zoey Zane didn't have any money either, and just as she saw Nancy Hughes walk in, she said, "Nancy, do you have any cash on you? Give some to Lana!"
Nancy Hughes placed the food on the table. "Mom, this porridge is still warm. Have some."
Then she turned to Lana Caldwell. "Come outside with me. I need to talk to you."
She turned and walked out.
Lana Caldwell snorted. 'What's with the attitude? Who is she trying to act all high and mighty for?'
Nancy Hughes stood in the hallway. Lana Caldwell swaggered over, arms crossed. "What did you want me for?"
"What do you need money for?" she asked, turning to face her with a cold tone.
"To go to an internet cafe and hang out!"
