Georgia Thorne suddenly pulled her hand from Sharon Ennis's. "Mom, something's come up. I need to head out."
"Hey, where are you going? Your hand still needs ointment!"
"It's fine, I'm okay!" Georgia Thorne hurried upstairs, grabbed her bag, and ran outside.
The family had a driver, so Georgia Thorne got in the car and gave him the address for Sheridan Corporation. She then picked up her phone to call Elliot Sheridan.
The phone rang a few times with no answer, so she had no choice but to hang up.
'Elliot was probably busy looking for Aidan right now.'
The car had only gone a short distance when the driver suddenly slammed on the brakes, bringing it to a halt.
Georgia Thorne jolted forward, her hair tumbling into disarray. "Why did we stop?"
"There's a car ahead of us."
The driver had just finished speaking when a burly man appeared beside the car, knocking politely on the window.
