Nancy Hughes broke out in a sweat. "So you just told him everything?"
"Yeah, you should have seen the look in his eyes. It nearly scared me to death!" the female colleague answered definitively. "No, wait, don't change the subject. Do you really know this new shareholder?"
"Alright, alright. You... I'm speechless!" She had nothing more to say.
She reached up and touched her forehead. It felt like she really was running a fever; her forehead was burning up.
Nancy Hughes was actually fine. After a little while, she couldn't stand being cooped up in the room any longer. She wanted to go out and see how Dylan Heston was doing, to see what he was up to.
She pushed the door open, poked her head through the crack, and saw Dylan Heston cooking in the kitchen.
She walked over. "What are you making?"
She hadn't eaten anything since waking up, and she was starving.
Dylan Heston turned his head. "Can't sleep?"
She nodded. Dylan said, "Just a little longer. I'm making you breakfast."
