Dusk fell.
Silas Thornton led Holly Wyatt into a quaint, traditional restaurant.
All the lights in the restaurant were on, making it bright enough to see every decorative detail along the way.
Its layout resembled a classical courtyard. The upturned eaves featured intricately carved dragons and phoenixes that appeared to be sculpted from real gold, and the beams were made of solid wood. Every detail exuded luxury.
A dedicated attendant was required to guide them in. They didn't see anyone else along the path, indicating a high degree of privacy.
Holly Wyatt had never been to a restaurant like this before. Trailing behind Silas Thornton, she felt a little reserved.
