Even if we came, we wouldn't find any proof." Kitty kicked the café's door in frustration. "This is infuriating! I should've contacted you sooner yesterday and stayed by your side."
Phoebe Faulkner looked at the closed-for-business café, her gaze dropping.
She had been in such a daze yesterday that she'd forgotten the most important thing: finding witnesses and evidence to prove her innocence.
