She considered replying to Jace's text. She typed and deleted, then typed and deleted again, but she just didn't know what to say. In the end, she decided not to reply at all. 'As long as I follow the terms of our agreement and go back to the villa on time to cook for him, I shouldn't get on his bad side, right?'

Early in the morning, during breakfast, Kenneth Faulkner gave everyone in the family a reminder, especially his younger daughter, Hailey Faulkner. "Hailey, Phoebe is coming home today. Don't you give her a sour look."
