Phoebe Faulkner, of course, didn't answer.
Jace Lennox, however, chuckled. "I was just asking you to come to my room so I could tutor you."
Hearing this, Phoebe looked at Jace in surprise, her face flushing with embarrassment. She lowered her head, not daring to look at him again. 'But before, when he told me to go to his room, he always meant *that*.'
The first time, she had been terrified. After all, being tied up and abused like that, it was impossible for her not to be afraid.
But after the second time, she actually felt… that it was acceptable.
"If you want to, we can do it tonight," Jace breathed into Phoebe's ear, his voice exceptionally husky and suggestive.
Now that Phoebe's psychological trauma had been dispelled, Jace didn't want to force her into anything she didn't want. But if *she* wanted it, that was a different story entirely.
"You—!" Flustered, Phoebe pushed Jace away. "Who said I wanted to! I'm going back to my room!"
