Jace Lennox rushed back as fast as he could. The moment he returned to the villa and opened the door, he was met with Phoebe Faulkner, her eyes red and swollen from crying, throwing herself at him.
"My brother is gone! It's all your fault, my brother is gone!"
Phoebe Faulkner rushed up to Jace Lennox and started punching and kicking him.
Jace Lennox didn't stop her, letting her flail at him for a moment before catching her hands. "I forgot to tell you. The hospital called me. Your brother was showing signs of waking up, so I had him transferred to another hospital so he could receive better treatment."
Phoebe Faulkner froze, her vision blurred with tears, utterly speechless.
'So, the man who called and threatened me just now… was he lying?'
'So, Jace Lennox had people pick up my brother and move him to a different hospital?'
