"Phoebe, what's your current phone number? Can I have it?" Alan asked after catching up to Phoebe Faulkner. He was worried she wouldn't agree to let him walk her home, so he decided to try and get her phone number instead.
When Lionel Faulkner saw the foreigner still chasing after them, he stopped dead in his tracks, spun around, and glared at Alan.
"My little sister has a husband! Stop pestering her! If you don't, I'll have him beat you up!"
Phoebe Faulkner was speechless. "..."
'How did I not know that my brother, who's always hated Jace Lennox, has already defected to his side?'
Seeing this, Alan still didn't give up.
Noticing the strange, almost childlike tone in Lionel's voice, he blinked and said, "Phoebe's brother, even if she has a husband, she can still get a divorce. We are all free, and I have the right to pursue her."
