Over the past few days, Millie Sanders had been calling Jace Lennox, and he did answer.
However, every time he answered, he said he was busy.
This frustrated Millie Sanders to no end.
One day, just as Millie Sanders was about to call Jace Lennox again, the villa door suddenly swung open. She looked over, and to her surprise, the person standing there was the very man she had been longing for: Jace Lennox.
"Jace, you're finally here." Millie Sanders ran toward Jace Lennox.
Jace Lennox had just gotten into a fight with Dr. Whitecoat, and his face still bore the marks. He had only come over because he'd learned Rosalind Taylor had arrived in Norport. If he didn't show up, he was afraid Millie Sanders would be useless as a smokescreen.
When Millie Sanders ran up to Jace Lennox, she saw that his face was injured.
Seeing this, she asked in surprise, "Jace, what happened to your face?"
She reached out to touch Jace Lennox's face as she spoke.
