'I'll go find Henry Lester after I eat,' she thought. 'Besides, he has so many bodyguards with him. It won't be that easy for Silver Fox to make a move. And since Silver Fox hasn't issued a challenge to me, he probably won't do anything in the next few days.'
She took the food out and put it in the microwave. Just as she was about to eat, the villa's doorbell suddenly rang. 'Who could be here at this hour?'
Puzzled, she walked to the door. Through the peephole, she saw a sun-drenched, toothy grin. "Wildcat, open up. The boss told me to drop some things off."
Yara Quillan opened the door. Ian Shannon, who was standing outside, immediately walked in carrying six or seven plastic bags. As he came through, he didn't forget to aim a playful kick at her. "Wildcat, I've got more in the car. Go get it for me!"
Yara sidestepped Ian's kick. "Based on what you just said, Henry Lester told *you* to bring things over. He didn't say I had to help. So I have every reason not to!"
