She hung up, grabbed her backpack, and quickly threw in everything she needed. She tore off a piece of paper, scribbled a short note on it with a black pen, and ran downstairs. She placed the note on the table, weighing it down with a plate, then slung the pack over her shoulder and rushed toward the helicopter's landing zone.
