"Ian, I've still got a program to code. You can go on your own; I'm going to pass." Felix Lester chuckled. Just as he was about to hang up, he heard Ian yelling on the other end, "This is about Wildcat!"
Ten minutes later, Felix Lester arrived on a bicycle, dressed in a white casual outfit. Ian Shannon, who had just been leaning against the front of a car, immediately ran over. He frowned and aimed a kick at Felix's ancient clunker of a bike. "Seriously, man. How many years have you had this thing? Why are you still riding it?"
Felix Lester yanked his bike back, dodging Ian's kick. His handsome, clean-cut face was instantly on guard.
Ian knew the old clunker was Felix's prized possession, so he hadn't actually intended to connect with the kick. He watched Felix park the bike, then walk over and ask, "Ian, didn't you say Yara was here?"
Ian pointed toward the bar with a hand still stuck in his pocket. "Yup, right in there. I saw her go in with my own eyes."
