After hesitating for a long time, Rose Sanders finally took out her phone. She dialed the number she had kept hidden away for who knew how long. The moment the call connected and she heard the voice on the other end—still as gentle as a breeze—her heart involuntarily skipped a beat.
"Hello?" Felix Lester looked at the unfamiliar number on his phone, a little puzzled.
Rose Sanders stared at the phone in her hand, her feelings in a tangle. 'He really... He really didn't change his number?'
"Excuse me, who are you looking for?" Felix Lester asked, growing more confused when there was no response from the other end. Then, a voice finally came through. "Yara was taken by the police. She's at the Weston District Police Department now."
