In front of the police station, in the open lot used only by police vehicles, a gust of wind blew straight at her. Yara Quillan curled her lips into a smile. 'Rosie's analytical skills haven't dulled one bit. It seems there are some things I really don't need to worry about.'_
With that thought, she put the disconnected phone back in her bag and looked back at Felix Lester, who was standing behind her. "Felix, it looks like I can't treat you to that meal just yet. I need to get to the hospital and find out what's going on."
"I'll go with you." Although he didn't ask, Felix Lester was certain this matter wouldn't be resolved so easily. Besides, he wanted to meet Yara's friend—the one whose voice was nearly identical to Rosie's.
Yara Quillan nodded, not bothering with pleasantries with Felix Lester. The two of them got in the car and headed straight for the hospital.
