Yara Quillan had no appetite at the moment. She leaned into Henry Lester's embrace without a word. After a long while, she finally looked up and said, "Henry Lester, I want to go to Leridia. Right now."
Rosie's wedding was tomorrow. Even if she was okay, Yara had to get there tonight.
She had promised to be Rosie's maid of honor.
Henry Lester glanced at his watch. It was already past five. There were flights to Leridia, but they'd be cutting it close. Even if they made it, the journey would be too frantic. His little thing had just finished her court case today; he was genuinely worried the strain would be too much for her. "Eat something first. I'll have Felix fly you over on my private jet."
"But..." Yara Quillan knew time was tight, but this wasn't what she meant at all. She'd only wanted to let Henry Lester know so he wouldn't worry.
"It's alright, I know. You barely touched your lunch. What do you feel like eating? I'll make it." He was already on his feet as he spoke.
