Seeing the life return to her, Henry Lester's lips curved into a faint smile. He didn't need his little thing to be exceptionally strong—he just wanted her to be safe from harm.
Henry Lester drove Yara Quillan to the castle. By then, its main gate was already sealed shut, and everyone was gone without a trace. Yara Quillan stood before the gate and called out, but only the clear ring of her own voice echoed through the air, startling a few nearby birds from their foraging.
"Henry..." Yara Quillan turned to look back at Henry Lester. Even though she knew the place was likely empty, she still clung to a sliver of hope that she might find some useful clues. After all, Rosie had lived here.
Henry Lester ruffled Yara Quillan's hair and gave her a reassuring look before pulling his phone from his pocket. "Owen, I need the file on Ashworth Castle. Send it to me within half an hour."
