'Could Henry Lester be here?'
'Hmm, even though Henry Lester used to put on a show of scolding me in front of Sharon Grant, behind the scenes, he was always on my side.'
'So what if Henry is here?'
However, the person who appeared behind them wasn't Henry Lester. It was Sean Lowell. He took in the scene: Sharon Grant, a sobbing wreck with her hands covering her face, and Yara Quillan, the obvious suspect, who was now looking on with an expression of pure disgust. He raised an eyebrow slightly and walked toward them.
"Sean, did you see that? This woman… she actually hit me…" Sharon Grant's voice was pitiful as she cried. She even made a point of lowering the hand covering her face to show Sean Lowell the extent of her "injury."
Yara Quillan clicked her tongue. 'Could this woman be any more disgusting?'
"You hit her?" Sean Lowell turned to look at Yara Quillan. Though it was phrased as a question, his tone was one of certainty.
