She lay there for a moment, blinked, then pushed him away and stood up. A wave of irritation washed over her. 'So he really is fine! He still has this much strength to pull me around!'
"You need to get some proper sleep. The doctor said you're malnourished, you have stomach issues, appendicitis, and a high fever! And you're always telling me I can't take care of myself? What about you?" Yara Quillan was still angry—angry that Henry Lester had let himself get into this state.
'A retired colonel, no less. Is this how a soldier is supposed to treat his body?'
